RTXB to Produce Proprietary Brand Hemp Beverage Line-Up

DALLAS, TX–(Marketwired – July 31, 2014)

Republic of Texas Brands, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: RTXB) today has announced that they have completed the acquisition of CHILL-Texas which will now become a fully-owned subsidiary of RTXB.

C_Swiss_Plakat_2The CHILL-Texas brand brings the entire CHILLO Energy Beverage and C-Swiss Ice Tea product, inventory and distribution rights all under one roof. Randy Safford, who has done a masterful job, will continue on as the CEO of CHILL-Texas. The CHILL-Texas acquisition was a combination of cash and restricted shares.

“We feel very fortunate that Randy Safford has decided to stay on as CEO of CHILL-Texas. Randy has done an outstanding job securing new distributors and he is the ideal individual to help us launch our new Proprietary Brand Beverage line-up, especially since he already has a working relationship with an ever growing list of clients who have been purchasing CHILLO Energy Beverage and C-Swiss Ice Tea products for many months now,” says RTXB CEO Tom Shuman.

With the acquisition, Chill-Texas simultaneously announced their distribution initiatives for their CHILLO Hemp Energy Drink in Ohio, the five boroughs of New York City and the Caribbean Isle of Jamaica.

In addition, Randy Safford has brought on Chris Dawkins as Vice-President of Marketing for Chill-Texas. His duties, Safford says, “will be to increase brand awareness through Event Marketing and Social Media, while expanding our distribution network in North America.”

“Our footprint is ever expanding and the synergy between CHILL-Texas and Republic of Texas Brands makes this acquisition extremely beneficial to both parties. We are planning on an October launch of the new product line-up and the CHILL-Texas customers have already voiced huge enthusiasm, and they are Totally Hemp Crazy about the idea of stocking the new Aqua Hemp product line”, says Shuman. Aqua Hemp will be offered in four flavors; Citrus, Lemon Lime, Pomegranate and Wild Berry. The drinks will be offered in colorfully labeled clear plastic 12 oz. bottles. The flavored hemp water line-up will offer the consumer an attractive retail price and will offer a better than average margin for the retailers.

“There are many exciting new things to announce in the coming weeks, as well as the launch of a new corporate website. Our loyal investors will be excited about the direction of our new company, Totally Hemp Crazy.”
